The first week of DreamLeague Season 8 EU/CIS League play is at an end. There are plenty of matches still to go but as LAN season gets underway, so here's a look at how things have played out so far.

Both world OG and ru Virtus.Pro came out on top of the rankings this week despite playing three matches apiece. One of those matches was against each other, a 1-1 tie featuring a close Game 2 with VP's Meepo versus OG's Broodmother, narrowly won by VP.

Two other teams had even busier schedules this week. Both ru Team Empire and ru Vega Squadron played four of their DreamLeague matches, but they're going to need to step it up if they hope to qualify for the DreamLeague Major. Team Empire went 3-5 after losing outright to both VP and OG, but tied against eu MidOrFeed and beating Vega.

Vega are going to have a very tough time making up points. They ended the week with a 1-7 record, though their one game win was against OG.

Only ua Natus Vincere came through the week undefeated, but they played just a single match against Vega.

Virtus.pro didn't just win the most games in DreamLeague this week, they also had a bit of fun while they were at it.

DreamLeague have not announced when the EU/CIS League will return but, with a packed schedule of LANs throughout the remainder of October, it will likely be sometime after Dota Pit which takes place Nov 2-5.
